INFORMATION FOR EGG RECIPIENTS

We are here to help you search for an egg donor to assist in conceiving your child.

Our experienced team of professionals will work with you to locate an egg donor that specifically meets your personal requirements. We provide you with the confidentiality that both you and a donor may wish for by serving as an intermediary yet ensure you have enough information about our donors to be comfortable with your choice.

STEP BY STEP PROCESS FOR RECIPIENT

Phase 1: Beginning the process

  • Contact us either by email or telephone
    info@ivimed.com or 65 9021 7996

If you are working online to locate a donor, register with us at the Contact Us menu, fill in the requested fields and press submit.

Phase 2: Selection Process

  • When you have decided on a donor, we shall send you a contract and discuss your specific cycle requirements as to the location of your doctor, location of your donor, necessary screening requirements, potential cycle dates as determined by your doctor and yourself.

  • Return the signed contract and the deposit. The deposit is placed in an escrow account for your cycle and it consists of 50% of the ivimed agency fee and 50% of the donor’s fee. Our panel of attorneys can assist you in the drafting or reviewing of the contracts.

Phase 3: Psychological Testing

  • We commence donor screening according to the protocol and orders established by your doctor’s office.

  • We shall send the psychological clearance letter to the doctor.

  • At this point, you will be invoiced for the balance of all cycle expenses.

Phase 4: Administrative and Legal Processes

  • Before the doctor administers medication on the donor, all legal clearance documentation shall be completed.

  • The balance of the ivimed fees and the donor’s fees shall be paid.

  • We shall request an expense account be set up for the expenses of the donor, to be paid as when necessary.

Phase 5: Medical Procedure

  • We shall liaise with the doctor when the psychological clearance report and the legal documents have been signed.

  • The doctor will commence her cycle, synchronizing the cycles using a series of medications to facilitate a hospitable uterine environment for transfer of embryos.

  • All viable eggs produced in a single donor cycle are inseminated and all embryos belong to the recipient parent. If there are embryos in excess of the number for safe transfer, cryopreservation of additional embryos is made.

Phase 6: Post Egg Retrieval

  • The recipient will be blood tested for pregnancy.

  • She will be having hormonal treatment to maintain her pregnancy.

  • After the donor’s eggs been retrieved, ivimed compensates the donor for her time, discomfort and commitment and also a gift for her.
